A week away from my 54th birthday

So besides a slow changing number, what are birthdays all about? I know it's scary for some, something to dread for others  (like my children) they celebrate it for a week. I love my birthday and always will. I guess this is the year I should do nothing but dread the big 55 coming and then begin worrying about the big 60!! I will actually be sitting at a Council meeting.

Not me!! I'm worried about the snow never leaving and my golf clubs will be in the house well past the middle of April. I worry that I can't work my schedule so I can see my first Bruins game this year. Sometimes I worry I will fall asleep before Scandal or The Blacklist is on. Yup, first world problems are my burdens. LOL!!

So bring on the birthdays!!! The numbers can change all they want, but my spirit will remain the same. By the way, I always love the questioning statement "I can't believe you are in your 50's". Well, they are not my 50's. I'm just making them look good!!!
